Crafted from sturdy red cedar, it naturally resists weathering while offering excellent insulation throughout the nesting season. The box opens easily for clean-out, making seasonal maintenance simple and convenient. Built-in drainage holes help keep the interior dry, while ventilation openings promote proper airflow and temperature regulation. Inside, grooved walls give fledglings the traction they need to climb out when it’s time to leave the nest, supporting healthy development from hatch to first flight. Hole size is 1 1/4".
