These towers of cheerful colour define the cottage garden. Hollyhock seeds can be direct seeded outdoors or started indoors and will self seed freely. As a biennial it will form a small plant the first year and bloom the second year. They can grow astonishingly quickly, and may exceed 10-15 feet tall. Hollyhocks look lovely grown en masse.
