I'm writing this review after harvesting 14 eggplants from two plants in the past 5 days. These were such hardy starts - they withstood a good amount of flea beetle damage without me intervening in any way and have absolutely flourished. They are loaded with eggplants and they are all firm and glossy and the perfect size. I'm so happy they're producing so well and am excited to see how they fare until the first frost in 2 months.
The best tasting beans by far, in my opnion! This is my second year growing Maxibels and I'll keep growing them as long as I have a garden. I highly recommend them.
I currently have a nice row of Azure Stars growing in a raised bed. I'm in Alberta and its been a challenge this year, with too much rain, cool weather, and a late start. Yet every seed planted germinated and are doing well. I recommend them and will buy them again next year.
Wonderful! Next time I will plan for the flop-over effect of these flowers.
Trim those dying base leaves, give them only tiny bits of water and fertilizer, leave space for them to flop, plant several times two weeks apart, and you're good to go for maximum flowerage.
