Lay down two inches of sand, and then arrange the cables so that they are spaced about 8cm (3”) apart. Then add another layer of sand or soil to the desired depth (deeper for less heat, shallower for more). The area is then ready to use as a permanent propagation table for seeds, seedlings, and cuttings. The cables are designed to run 24 hours a day, as needed.
