These Plug Inserts 24 Cell Seedling Trays are made from flexible plastic sheeting. Ideal for inserting into Seedling Trays. Each plug can be separated from the sheet, or kept intact, depending on your planting needs. Each sheet contains 24 cells @ 6.4 x 8.9 cm (2.5" x 3.5"). This size is great for starting larger seeds like melons or squashes indoors, prior to transplanting outdoors. But you can start smaller seeds in them, too, like lettuce or onions. They also work very well for flowers like Alyssum and Lobelia - allow the roots to develop a bit, tip out the whole root ball, and break it apart at transplant time. These trays come in a box that is 27cm wide, 7cm tall, and 53cm long.
