The micro clover makes a great ground cover. Feels like I am fighting a losing battle with the indigenous ground clover but perhaps if it’s green and ground cover all good. The seeds sprout well and I sow the area a couple of times a year.
I'm growing in Cold Lake, Alberta, where our season is short, so I wanted an early cherry tomato. Sakura did exactly what I hoped. It was the first tomato to ripen in my garden (july 9), and the plants are loaded with fruit. The flavor is excellent. It starts with a little sweetness, then finishes with just enough acidity to give it a real tomato taste. It's very well balanced and not overly sweet.
The plants have been healthy, vigorous, and easy to grow. They handled our cool weather and excess rain well and never seemed to miss a beat. After tasting my first harvest, Sakura has earned a permanent spot in my garden. I'll definitely be growing it again next year.
