I know many wildflowers need a cold stratification period but I planted these hoping the cold start to Calgary’s summer would be enough to get them going. I also threw down some bee turf seeds at the same time. The clover came up but I haven’t seen much of anything else. I can’t say its that the seeds were bad but my little front lawn was just mud for so long I gave up and bought some potted flowers too, negating any attempts to save money by using seed. I might try this seed mix again but only if I have extra money this fall.
My peas are growing super well, despite being delayed due to Calgary’s cold and wet June. I’m thankful something managed to survive the weather, lol.
Germination was very good , can’t wait to see them start flowering!
As soon as I see fruit I will be ordering some more
