In a large pot with a coffee can collar around it (squirrels deterant to stop them kicking plants out). Growing really well though it has been changeable weather here in S Ontario. So its a bit of a halt in growth at present cold nights not so warm days....optimistic for the future though 🤔
Seedlings doing great under grow lights. Lovely dark green leaves and left alone by fungus gnats so far. Spray occaionally with hydrogen peroxide / H2O mix and sticky traps. Looking forward to planting outside...good squirrels deterant.
I overwintered these seeds in january/February up against the garage. To be honest I really didnt expect much having read how difficult lavender was to grow but.....it was amazing so thick and well rooted ( I think I put all the seeds in a 6x6in space of potting soil) probably choking but now in a pot with need to curb the fertilizer so i don't kill it !
Beautiful plants from seeds I was so surprised as I had a box store plant last year which did nothing in my garden and ultimately died. So these prolific seeds have been amazing can't wait for peppers to flower.

Just poping leaves out of the large pot they're in ...I grew them ast year with only leaves and no flowers so am very excited and hopeful for blooms in this group of bulbs . Hope springs eternal !! A mantra for all Gardeners !
