Nice people and good service…

This blend was the best decision I could have made. All season there have been beautiful blooms popping up everywhere. New poppies almost every day - so many different colours and heights and variety of stems and leaves.

I’ll be removing some older plants next spring to replace with more of this mix. I loved watching the bees and butterflies from May to September.

Great product with really good germination. Zone 5. Planted directly in the soil late May and ended up with a large crop harvested in late summer. Great mild taste. Will definitely plant again next year.

Great product. Started seedlings indoors around March, transferred outside in late May. Good germination rate. Plants grew really well with lots of luffas. Will buy more seeds and plant again next year. Zone 5.

I started from seed in early 2025, and now 18 months later in 2026 I had a 3-4ft plant with huge beautiful blooms! The bees love it. Some frogs even moved in.

Be patient with this perennial, it's worth the wait.

I don't remember the germination rate ( as others have commented ) but I had 2 of them in the garden this year. I had them both in a fairly crowded garden bed that had a fair bit of shade . It did produce , but produced so much better when I cleared out the garden to give them more sun . So im impressed with it's performance in less than ideal conditions lol. Only problem is that the birds ate most of my jalapeños ( So beware if you think they're safe from being eaten cause of the spice ).
Flavor wise I enjoyed it. Not as unpleasantly bitter as he store bought ones. I think it has a bit more spice though .

I've ordered through West Coast Seeds 4-5 times now, and the experience has always been seamless.

Zone 9a: These took a bit of time to come up because I direct-sowed them a bit too early (March 22), but by April 29 they were germinating, July 6 I was seeing the first blooms, and by end of July they were looking full and mature. Some of the stems are long enough to include in bouquets, and they have lasted really well in the vase and provided a good pop of colour. It's the end of August now, and they're still throwing out lots of blooms while other flowers around them start to fade out.

I used these to give out for my spouse's celebration of life. There will be a large number of sunflowers blooming next year!
