Just finished my first harvest of yellow mustard sprouting seeds. Nice slightly spicy flavour addition to my salad. Sprouted well in screened jar.
Started May 20, one seed per 18-cell plug insert, all germinated fast. Just transplanted seedlings a little over a week ago, and like a gift sent from above we got 3-4 days of steady rain so plants got situated very nicely before this blistering heat. They seem to be loving it all and have atleast doubled in size and are very healthy. There are still enough seeds for a fall crop and then some from a .25g packet. Flea beetles didn't bother this one or the De Cicco broccoli one bit.
