As the City of North Vancouver began the summer with imposed Stage 2 Water Restrictions it was not possible to obtain a Nematodes watering permit for the necessary 2 week July watering window. I purchased 2 rain barrels from the City, but the task of watering my lawn by hand with rain water was back breaking. So although I applied the purchased nematodes, watered as much as I could, and it did rain for several days at the end of July, it is likely that there was not enough moisture in the ground to allow the nematodes to reach the chafer beetle larva and be effective. I have successfully treated my lawn for many years, so we will see this autumn whether it was a useless exercise and waste of money and my lawn is reinfected. Likely another example of Metro Vancouver's inept management.

Happy to report the Firewise Blend has exceeded our expectations. One package and 100s of blooms by early to mid July and still going strong. Beautiful for cut flowers for inside. Will definitely order again!

Beautiful and lush in the first year planting! I did a lot of soil building beforehand and sprinkled the bumble bee blend along the fence for greater height.

Okay, I planted two of these seeds in my hydroponic table, and in les than 72 hours they have germinated and the first 2 baby leaves are showing. the germination was incredibly fast and I will buy from this store again sometime
