Osmia lignaria propinqua. 12 dormant cocoons come in a small cardboard container. At the time of year that the cocoons are shipped, they will remain dormant. Store the container in a safe spot in the refrigerator once you receive them. Clean nesting tubes and prepare the nesting site over the winter.
In early spring, about a week before crops begin to bloom, place the box of cocoons on or near the nesting area.
As the sun warms the nest, the mason bees will begin to emerge. Emergence can take hours or several days. Males will emerge first, then the females.

Cocoons will arrive in a package that measures 10cm wide x 8cm tall x 10cm long.
Note: Boxes are marked 10 cocoons per, but include 12 cocoons.
