The DeWitt Dew Right tree watering bag holds up to 20 gallons of water. The water is released slowly through fine perforations at the bottom so that the soil immediately around the base of a tree receives water over a five to eight hour period. One soak like this, just once a week, is enough to keep saplings strong and healthy during the droughts we get in summer time. Simply wrap this product around the base of a young, or newly established, tree, and do up the zipper to hold it in place. Then water from the top with a hose or watering can until full. Unzip and store once the wet weather returns in the fall. It installs in about five minutes and does not require tools of any kind.. The bag ships at 30x30x5cm (12x12x2").
