In some gardens squirrels can prove such a nuisance getting into bird feeders to all but ruin the experience. This clever feeder is bound to foil even the most determined squirrel. An ingenious spring loaded center column ensures that as soon as a squirrel or larger bird (as in pigeon or crow) puts its weight on the feeder, the feeder's ports will close, cutting off all access to the seeds inside. After only a couple of foiled attempts, the frustrated foe will move along to greener pastures. The feeder can be opened for cleaning or filling by pushing and twisting the top cap - like a child safe medicine container.
The Squirrel Buster is available in three sizes:
Mini - 550ml capacity, 31cm (12”) tall (shown)
Standard - 750ml capacity, 21.5cm (8") tall
Classic - 1.3L capacity, 50cm (20”) tall (Four ports at different heights along the column and extra wire mesh allows for a variety of birds to share the feeder.)
NOTE: There is a printing error on some boxes of the Mini that states the capacity is 750ml. The correct capacity is 550ml.
