Whole, unsalted peanuts in the shell are much loved by jays, woodpeckers, and other birds. the Wreath Peanut Feeder holds just over one pound of peanuts and it's easy to clean and fill. It's essentially a metal spring wound round a hoop shape that holds it together. Hang it roughly ten to twelve feet from a tree trunk or bushes, and these birds will make visits daily, especially in the winter. The wreath measures 32cm (12.5") in diameter and is available in assorted colours: Royal purple, spring green, and brilliant blue.
