Started May 20, one seed per 18-cell plug insert, all germinated fast. Just transplanted seedlings a little over a week ago, and like a gift sent from above we got 3-4 days of steady rain so plants got situated very nicely before this blistering heat. They seem to be loving it all and have atleast doubled in size and are very healthy. There are still enough seeds for a fall crop and then some from a .25g packet. Flea beetles didn't bother this one or the De Cicco broccoli one bit.
We did everything right; removed all grass, weeds, moss then laid down weedless black earth. Mixed clover seed with sand before spreading. It’s been 5 weeks and it came up in patches but now there is grass and weeds growing in spots and the spots where the clover looked abundant now seems to have disappeared. We’ve kept it watered well and started planting in mid May so it should have taken. We’ve reseeded some bare patches 2 weeks ago but it takes so long for it grow we’ve now decided to throw grass seed down with top soil. Disappointed that we spent $200 on products to grow the clover, but now we’re going to try grass again. I gave 3 stars because the shipping was fast
