So delicious and fast growing. Worked well to grow in tomato cages. Sowing a second time in fall. Smooth thick shells with satisfying crunch. Better quality and texture than Sugar Ann.
I am very happy with the micro clover seed I purchased. They sprouted after a couple days and are growing vigourously. My order was processed, shipped and received very quickly.
8th of august, had 100% germination rate, plant are healthy and many pumpkin per plant are steadily growing. love them
Planted late May here in Northern SK, in watered trenches 2-3 mls deep and “covered” only slightly with a quick dusting of dry soil. Every one germinated!! It’s August 9 as I write this, and I still have blooms opening. They are vigorous growers with thick bluish foliage and a few double-topped (two stemmed/podded) blooms and pods. They even withstood a vicious hailstorm in July and only yellowed on the bottom 1/4 of their stems; that storm took down trees, broke glass, and shredded many gardens here. But these peony poppies just loved to thrive!! Unlike many other poppy strains, these poppies bloomed for up to 5 or 6 days at a time with the low end being 2-3 days. So that was a wonderful surprise!! They are fascinating to watch grow, especially when the blooms are fighting to break out of the stem heads…they unfold vigorously. I watched quite a few during the whole bursting-out and unfolding stage. These also bloomed high, many of them being about 3 & 1/2’ to 4’ by the time they shed petals. The colors were tones of “black”stone-cherry purple as shown on your website all the way over to a satiny fuschia pink, and I had a range of blooming patters. Some were traditional 4-petaled poppies that bloomed a day or so, but most were the majestic ruffled peony blooms that were so much fun to watch forcing their heads open! The ruffles themselves were plentiful and voluminous; and as I mentioned, they stayed intact and gorgeous for a number of days. I also got many 1/4 sized petite peony poppy blooms that would punch themselves out from between the leaves and stems of their larger sisters! Super cute but a result of my noob mistake of planting them carelessly with no spacing. I will know not to repeat that because I will definitely be back for more in the spring!!! My first year planting poppies, very pleased with this company 🇨🇦🥀🌺🇨🇦 Grateful for the very accurate instructions and tips in my order and on the website!!
