We are a group of volunteers who have plots in the Sunshine Community Garden. We have specifically dedicated 5 plots to grow fresh produce for our community of Chilliwack, BC.
We volunteer our time to plant, grow and harvest for our neighbours who have needs, as we understand that fresh vegetables are not always obtainable for seniors, families and individuals in this present economy.
By working together to grow vegetables we share a common goal to do good, to do something positive with the abundance of the garden. While we work there is laughter, interactions and connection. We share knowledge about gardening and learn from each other; the benefits of working together are as evident to us as the benefits to our community. 
Seeing the faces of people who receive our produce is a tangible reward for our work, we have a small part in giving kindness from the nourishment of the earth.
