CAMPBELL RIVER AND NORTH ISLAND TRANSITION SOCIETY (CRNITS) is a registered non-profit organization which has a mandate to end family violence and violence against women and children. CRNITS programs and services are available to all women and their children in the North Vancouver Island Region. CRNITS operates Ann Elmore Transition House and Rose Harbour Transitional Housing in Campbell River. CRNITS also operates safe homes in remote locations. There are no service fees associated to programs and services provided by CRNITS with the exception of subsidized rent at Rose Harbour.
Rose Harbour has 27 units for individuals and families.

The garden is a space where our community can go to be peaceful and nurture new life. Gardening is not only a healthy past time, it also allows our folks to grow their own healthful food and supplement rising costs at the grocery store.
Our organization started as a grass roots shelter for women fleeing abuse and has since grown to include 2 second-stage buildings, a transition house, women's center, long-term units, rural safe homes, and community outreach programs.
