I really like this, although it does not look like the photo advertised. It is low pile, low maintenance, and takes hold well! This is year three with our bee turf and it is beautiful. There are lots of flowers for the bees and my son loves it. We don’t get a whole lot of sun here but it’s done very well. Overall I do recommend bee turf if you’re looking for a low maintenance, nitrogen fixing turf that will outcompete moss/other shade loving seeds/weeds
Sowed a bit late and they still grew wonderfully - didn’t bolt, germinated very well (about 90%), and produced consistent, round, good-sized radishes. Good flavour too - nice peppery kick!
Beautiful and easy to grow. Had a bountiful harvest but I was very diligent on manual pollination. Attracks the big bumble bees and ended up being the safe places where they took their naps. It was very nice to see a variety of pollinators with these ones. I believe I had a 100% germination rate, too! Didn't attack too many earwigs either!
I wished so badly these ones worked out. I had very nice seedlings going but they just didn't do well in my raised bed after transplanting. Germination took a lot longer than anticipated.
Hi Sarah,
Thank you for your review.
I'm sorry to hear that your seedlings did not do great after transplanting.
