Started seeds last August and transplanted into ground late August and overwinter. Did absolutely nothing but sulked from October to March but really took off from April onwards. It's just about ready in the next couple of weeks. It is a beautiful plant. I am growing it again this year but started seeds earlier this year in mid July . Let's see if the extra day light hours will get the plant into better shape for overwintering and earlier harvest next year.
These beauties have not gone to flower yet but they are growing. Planted them late. I love, love, love strawflowers. My Mom used to buy them at a crafting warehouse, they were dried. They remind me of my Mom. <3
Great seeds however the price has gone up considerably.
Very dependable!! I toss the seeds into my vegetable and flowerbeds after last frost (central Alberta) and by the end of July/beginning of August there are dill plants everywhere. They will also self seed from previous year. The bonus is the pollinators love it!!
