The decorative metal housing is sturdy and attractive, with an elegant look that will suit formal gardens. The top cap has a spring loaded button for easy release and refilling, and it keeps the lid securely in place. The built in catch tray allows a wider variety of birds to feed. We found that finches and sparrows were visiting this feeder more often than ones with perches.
