Grow zinnias seeds for their intense colours and extravagant, rounded flowers. These bold, huge flowers are excellent for cutting. The Zinnia was named after Johann Gottfried Zinn (1727-1759). Flowers of the Zinnia are found in a multitude of shapes and sizes. Most common are the multi-petaled ball shaped blossoms and the daisy shaped blossoms. Blossom sizes range from Β½"-3" inches across. Zinnias are a wonderful, highly colorful mass flower for summer arrangements.
