Marrow seeds produce a type of squash that may be more familiar with gardeners from the UK. There, it's the term for a zucchini (courgette) that is allowed to reach maturity. These are members of the species Cucurbita pepo, that are different enough from the zucchinis we are used to in North America that they warrant their own category.

Ah, so far all the potato seedlings have sprouted above ground, and I've done my first hilling. The plants have a nice harvest green with bright markings on the leaves..so far so good and do look forward to some scrumous dishes in the fall -- yum!
