Also known as Black Pearl, Kuroshinju soybean seeds are early maturing. The seeds turn black when cooked, and are rich in antioxidants. It has better flavour, silkier texture, and a sweeter taste than most other varieties. The bushy 60cm (24″) plants excelled during our seed trials, producing copious harvests of pods, each containing two to three seeds. The pods were held aloft on the plants which makes harvesting much easier, and keeps the pods out of the mud. The pods keep fresh for ages if briefly blanched and then frozen. Our soybean seeds are authentic from Japanese breeding and are non-GMO. Soybeans are easy to grow, easy to harvest, and nutritious to eat.
Matures in 80-85 days. (Open-pollinated seeds)
