Butternut Squash Seeds

Tan skin and orange, moist flesh in an elongated squash and with a small seed cavity at one end. The flavour is nutty, and similar to pumpkin in texture. Butternut squash seeds produce vines or bush plants that form distinctive fruits with smooth tan skins and sweet orange flesh. These winter squashes belong to the species Cucurbita moschata, so care should be taken not to plant next to other C. moschata varieties – if you plan to save seeds.
