Bred for harvest at baby-leaf size or as micro-greens, Rioja leaf radish has extremely tender leaves with masses of flavour. The large cotyledons (first leaf pair) are succulent and lovely. Most are rich purple-red, with some bright green in the mix. Add flavour and colour to salad mixes with this remarkable leaf radish, long popular in the UK and finally available in North America. This is a great option for container growing, and really fast to produce. Sow densely and often for a constant supply of fresh and spicy radish leaves.
