Plant Blueberry Cheesecake Dahlia tubers this spring for big showy blooms in mid summer. Blueberry Cheesecake is a decorative mix of purple and white blooms on this widely variable cultivar. Flowers to 15cm (6″), and height to 1m (40″). Blueberry Cheesecake looks downright architectural in large containers. Dahlia tubers produce flowers in the first year, and can be lifted in the fall and divided for planting the following spring. These colorful spiky flowers generally bloom from midsummer to first frost, when many other plants are past their best. They range in color and even size, from the giant 10-inch “dinnerplate” blooms to the 2-inch lollipop-style pompons. Most varieties grow 4 to 5 feet tall. Dahlia tubers are shipped in march at the same time as our seed potatoes. Order both and same shipping.
