Plant Ismene Advance Peruvian Daffodil bulbs in the spring and enjoy the spectacular, fragrant, white, spider-like flowers by mid-summer. In the fall, lift the tender perennial bulbs, and store them over winter for years of enjoyment. The bulbs go dormant during winter, and arise with new growth by mid-May. Grow this deer-resistant beauty in full sun or partial shade, in rich, freely draining soil. Keep the soil moist, particularly in hot weather. The flower spike will reach a height of 50cm (20″).
Note that Ismene ‘Advance’ is synonymous with Hymenocallis ‘Advance’ and may be labeled as such in some resources. Plants within the Hymenocallis group are closely related, with some overlap and variability.
