Among the first flowers to appear in spring, crocuses herald a change in the seasons. Yalta Crocus bulbs do their thing as early as February, springing from the ground with bright purple and white alternating petals that surround a golden centre. These work exceedingly well in containers, but in the garden they are easy to naturalize, and will form gradually spreading clumps that will fade long before the lawn needs trimming. Yalta Crocus grows to only 10cm (4″) tall, and is hardy to Zone 4. Plant in the fall in full sun to partial shade. Our flower bulbs for fall planting ship in September through fall while supplies last.
