When the snow finally starts to recede as winter closes, Galanthus appear across the land. This is the genus gardeners know as snowdrops, which, along with crocuses, are the very first flowers to bloom. The dainty, nodding flowers of Elwesii Single Snowdrop only reach 10cm (4″) tall, but appear in ever-increasing numbers as the years go by. This tendency to naturalize in the garden (or lawn) adds the appeal. Snowdrops are deer resistant and hardy to Zone 3, and they’ll perform in full sun to partial shade. Our flower bulbs for fall planting ship in September through fall while supplies last.
