CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Red Beauty organic Zinnias feature amazing, deep red, dahlia-like blooms up to 12cm (4½") across. The upright plants grow to 75cm (30") tall, with rigid stems that make them prime for use as cut flowers. They will stay fresh in a vase for over a week. These beautiful Zinnias are bred to have a very strong disease resistance. Keep them cut and they will continue to bloom from July to September, while other varieties become a little weak at the end of summer. This is an easy annual that can be direct sown in spring to provide a real burst of summer colour. They looks spectacular in mass plantings, but they'll work in larger containers as well.

Season & Zone
Exposure: Full sun
Zone: 2-10

Direct sow after last frost, in April and May on the coast. Zinnias don’t transplant well, but you can try starting some indoors in peat or coir pots 6-8 weeks before planting out. Maintain a soil temperature of 21-26°C (70-80°F). Seeds should germinate in 5-24 days.

Just cover Zinnia seeds, and aim for a final spacing of 25-30cm (10-12″) between plants.
