Description:

The Oya is an unglazed ceramic irrigation vessel that gets buried up to its neck in garden beds, raised beds, or near any plant that needs continuous moisture. The vessel is filled with water every five to ten days, and the water gradually seeps through the porous clay into the garden soil. Plant roots will gravitate towards the Oya, taking the water as they need it. This ancient method of irrigation conserves water by reducing evaporation and runoff.

The Oya small size irrigates to a diameter of two feet. The Oya measures 5x7" which makes it suitable for any container or bed at least six inches deep.

The Oya medium size irrigates to a diameter of three feet. The Oya itself measures 7x10" and holds 3 liters of water. Empty, it weighs 3 lbs. The shipping box measures 28x20x20cm (11x8x8").

The Oya large size will provide moisture to a diameter of four feet. It measures 10x13" and holds 6.5 liters of water. Empty, it weighs 4.5 lbs. The shipping box measures 33x25x25cm (13x10x10").
