Snowdrops are one of the most welcome sights that signal the end of winter. Galanthus Flore Pleno snowdrops are no exception. This diminutive plant is pretty tough, too. It's deer resistant and hardy to Zone 3, even though it only reaches 10cm (4") tall. The hanging white flowers are double in this variety, and its perennial nature means that it will slowly spread year after year, eventually naturalizing. Try it on slopes or any area in full sun to partial shade where it will hail the arrival of spring. Our flower bulbs for fall planting ship in September through fall while supplies last.

Bulbs are easy to plant and easy to grow. Flower Bulbs are broken down into two very general groups – Fall planting bulbs benefit from sitting in cold soil. Spring planting bulbs do not require cold soil to trigger flowering. Fall planting bulbs can be planted any time between late September and January, but most gardeners plant fall bulbs in October and November, about the same time you would plant garlic. Fall planting bulbs will bloom the following spring and early summer. Spring planting bulbs should be sunk into the ground in March and April. They tend to bloom later in the spring, into mid-summer.
