The Juwel Biostar 1000 Premium Cold Frame is constructed from quality materials and is easy to assemble. The double layer roof window includes a polycarbonate window as well as a layer of mosquito netting that will protect the crops inside from insect pests and small animals. Just slide the window open to expose the netting. Crops can be watered directly through the netting, or the whole top can be propped open. The unique "no-drip" coating prevents condensation on plants. The 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate windows have a 10-year UV guarantee. The kit has child-safe rounded edges and includes four corner stakes to hold it in position. It is said to be strong enough to support six feet of snow. The assembled unit measures 40" wide, 30" deep, and 17" tall.
