Chickpea Seeds

Plant chickpea seeds in spring when pea seeds are planted since the plants grow well in cool weather. The drought-tolerant plants each produce a small handful of chickpeas for drying, sprouting, grinding into flour, and many other uses. Our certified organic chickpea seeds are useful in companion planting since they fix nitrogen in the garden soil.
