Lettuce is a member of the daisy family, Asteraceae. it comes in an amazing array of forms, colours, sizes, and flavours. Although it can be bred and crossed using sophisticated means, all lettuce is open pollinated and it should always come true from saved seeds. Because its flavour is relatively neutral, many new gardeners consider it a "safe" crop to grow. It is certainly very easy to grow once its needs are understood. Lettuce is a cool season crop with fast growth - sow small amounts of seed frequently for a steady supply, rather than all at once. And be sure to try new varieties every year.

I received these in two instalments. The first group came up strong and now the second group is equally as strong. This is the first time I have attempted to grow potatoes. Looking forward to harvest time
