I lost my password. Help!

Simply go to the My Account page and enter your Username. This is the email address you used when you first set up your account. We will send a new password to the e-mail address associated with your West Coast Seeds online account. We ask that you then edit your Account Details and update your password to something fresh and memorable.

In the event that you set up your account using an email that is no longer in service, simply contact us toll free at 1-888-804-8820, and our Customer Service team will help update your account.

How do I register for an online account?

Visit the Register Account page to enter your address, shipping address (if different from billing), and your contact details. From this page you will be able to assign and update your personal password. If you feel you already have an existing account, go to the Login Page and enter your details there. You can always ask for a reminder password to be sent to your email address.

What is the login for?

The login process is a security measure to insure that your details are kept safe. We suggest that when you place your first online order, you write down the login information and keep it in a safe place. You will need it to place online orders in the future.

The login function also makes it harder for our website to be corrupted by spam messages and so-called spambots.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order at West Coast Seeds. However, because of the cost of shipping, it may be more economical to order more than one item.

All orders under 100 grams, with a total value of $20.00 or less for shipments in Canada will be shipped in a first class envelope at $5.00.
Orders over 100 grams, up to 750 grams: Canada flat rate $7.50.
For orders over 750 grams, and for each additional 1kg add $2.00.

West Coast Seeds ships anywhere in continental North America. We are not able to ship garlic, potatoes, asparagus crowns, bulbs, onion sets, mason bee cocoons, or nematodes outside of Canada. The minimum shipping charge to the US is $6.99.

What taxes apply to the different products?

Residents of British Columbia must pay 7% Provincial Sales Tax (PST) on all items purchased except seeds, books, garlic, and potatoes. If you live outside of BC, you will not be charged PST.

If you are a professional grower or have Aboriginal status, be sure to include your status number, and you will not be charged PST.

A 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) is charged on all items going to Canadian customers. This tax is not charged for orders from outside Canada. Some seeds are GST exempt: If you will be purchasing 5kg or more of large seeds (peas, beans, corn), or 125g of other vegetable seeds, you will not be charged GST. In the event that the seeds are sold by number rather than weight, orders for seeds of 2,500 or more will not be charged GST.

Can I order by mail?

Absolutely! Use the West Coast Seeds order form from inside our catalogue, or simply write us a letter. Be sure to indicate exact product number, size, and quantity for each item. Or use our online order system and print it off once the system has calculated your subtotal. We accept cheques and money orders, or you can indicate your Visa or Mastercard number and expiration date. We will process and ship your order within two business days.
