Dear West Coast Seeds Community,

These certainly are strange times. It's absolutely natural to be anxious, but please remember that you are not alone. We believe that our community and mutual support are more important than ever. We are doing absolutely everything we can to help during these challenging times.

Our team is working tirelessly to process orders, answer questions, and provide our services. That said, we are experiencing a remarkable surge in demand for seeds and gardening equipment. There will likely be delays, as we need to ensure the safety of our team.

Many of our office staff are now working from home. We are alternating shifts in our warehouse to reduce congestion and allow for personal distancing. We have also implemented additional sanitizing and workspace procedures as recommended by the health authorities.    

In our efforts to protect our staff and our customers, we have decided to temporarily close our retail store in Ladner. Our warehouse location has also been closed to the public and our customer service phone hours have been reduced to Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to noon PST until further notice. These steps have been taken to allow our team to focus on our online and retail partner order processing.    

In the meantime, our creative team is stepping up to deliver gardening content to help make your home-stay a little easier. Gardening is our therapy of choice. It provides an opportunity for calmness and clarity, to reflect on the natural world, and to cultivate beautiful things. Let's turn away from the constant news stream and share our joy in the garden. Whether you garden in your back yard or on your patio, you will be surprised how easy it is to grow your own food.
