Yellow Coneflower

Echinacea paradoxa
Drooping golden petals surround the spiky brown cone typical of Echinacea varieties. Plants grow to 90cm (36") tall, and are most robust from the third year on. Divide clumps in fall every 3 to 4 years. This variety looks spectacular mixed with the white coneflowers, with any purple flowers, or with Rudbeckias.
