This variety is suitable for growing as microgreens. Sow seeds densely in sterile seed starting mix, just covering the seeds. Keep soil just damp in a bright spot. Using bottom heat speeds germination. Harvest when seedlings open their first pair of leaves. Either cut with scissors, or pull up from the soil and rinse well. Use in salads or as garnishes. Microgreens are flavourful, nutritious, and low in calories. |
