Crisp, rich orange roots grow to 4cm (11/2") in diameter at the top, tapering 15-20cm (6-7") to a pointed end. They have a higher fibre content than Nantes types. They grow and keep well in heavier soils. The vigorous plants must be thinned early to 3-4cm (11/2-2") apart. Good for canning and freezing. Matures in 70 days. (
