Brassica rapa var. pervirdis
This variety tolerates heat well and can be planted from spring to fall. Leaves are round, flat and purple on top with green undersides and green stems. They are good in salads, sandwiches, and stir-fries, but don't over-cook or the colour fades. Use as a baby leaf in salad blends. Matures in 21 days for baby, 40 days for full size. (hybrid seeds)
