Jade Star is a distinctive, round, dark green watermelon. The very juicy red flesh has a traditional, delicious taste. The fruit size averages 3-5kg (8-12lb). Seeds are brown and tender enough to crunch. Watermelons generally need warmer days than cantalopes to mature their fruits. However, the effort of growing them is well rewarded with their wonderful flavour. Matures in 78 days. (hybrid seeds)
