Cimmaron

A deep, red Romaine with big, slightly blistered leaves on a tall plant. Individual leavsee are easy to pick and hold well in salads. Plant from March to August, as some will hold in the garden through a mild winter. The baby leaves look wonderful in salads. The deep red colour is an accent to superb flavour and crisp, tender texture. Matures in 30-35 days for cutting. (open pollinated seeds)

Oakleaf looseleaf varieties have gorgeous long leaves with deeply-notched, rounded edges and ar well suited to daily harvests of individual leaves or of a lovely, ruffled, full-sized plant.
