Scarlet Emperor

Large clusters of beautiful scarlet flowers and rapid, vigorous growth make the classic Scarlet Emperor an ideal choice for screens, trellises, and balconies. Its masses of long pods are tender and tasty when smaller. Undisturbed roots may overwinter and re-grow the next May or June in warm winter areas. Seeds are black & purple. Matures in 75 days. (open pollinated seeds)
