Glacier Organic
Glacier is an early, CERTIFIED ORGANIC potato-leaf heirloom variety that begins to bloom at only 10cm (4") tall. Masses of delicious, bright red 60-85g (3-4 oz) tomatoes follow over a fairly short, concentrated season. Glacier is well suited to container growing, and matures early enough to evade the early blight here on the Coast. Recommended by gardeners! Unlike many extra-early varieties, Glacier produces an early crop and will continue to fruit during the entire season. The flavor of Glacier is one of the best we offer, especially for an early variety. Fruits average 1-1/4" in diameter. Yields up to 3/4 bushel per plant. Cold tolerant, may survive a light frost.
Fruits all look imperfect. These heavy yielding plants produce great tomatoes with real tomato flavor for salads or slicing. Your children small or large will eat them once they are sliced.
Bush (determinate), Matures in 65 days. (open pollinated seeds)
