This is a hearty Romaine lettuce for big Caesar salads. Flavourful pale centres are surrounded by thick green outer leaves on an upright plant. They can be planted close together for a long harvest of little leaves for gourmet salads. Dating back to 1952, this heirloom is named after Parris Island off South Carolina.
