Butterhead Lettuce
What great flavour! This classic, medium-green butterhead has a delicate texture and large, firm, 450g (1lb) heads. It is good for spring, summer, and fall plantings; and is resistant to tip burn, bolting, downy mildew and lettuce mosaic virus.
Matures in 60 days. (open pollinated seeds)
Our customer, Gordon, reports: FYI: I grow these varieties of lettuce in Thailand. The varieties ordered do well in Thai winter at 1500 ft. Thais are getting to love lettuce. Usually eaten by hand from a bowl of fresh leaves during a meal full. No dressing
