Beans Bush

Bush beans are particularly easy to grow, and they do not take up very much space. Bush beans are "determinate," so they are ready to harvest all at once over the course of a couple of weeks in summer. If you want a longer harvest, stagger your planting times so that more seeds go in the ground every two weeks or so. Pole beans will keep producing all summer, as long as you keep their vines picked. Pole beans are considered "indeterminate." Family: Pea, Fabaceae
